Kylie Minogue's residency at the Voltaire nightclub quickly sold out, with 10,000 tickets (1,000 per show) gone in under five hours of release.
Minogue's Facebook post on August 14 highlighted an "overwhelming response" and a "system overload" on Voltairelv.com, leading to the rapid sell-out of tickets.
Due to the high demand, ticket resellers like StubHub listed tickets at significantly higher prices, with some opening night tickets priced at $4,500.
To meet the demand, Kylie Minogue decided to double the number of shows, extending the residency until May 2024.
Additional dates were added to the residency, giving fans more opportunities to attend, with options to purchase individual tickets or travel packages.
The second set of 10 shows sold out within half an hour of being released on Ticketmaster.com.
Travel packages, including tickets and a three-day hotel stay with VIP service, remained available at higher prices.
Rumors suggest that more shows might be added in the near future for those who missed out on tickets.
Minogue's residency coincides with the promotion of her upcoming album "Tension," set to be released on September 22, showcasing her continued relevance in the music industry.
