On August 18, 2023, in Toronto, Canada, a new episode of WWE SmackDown will pay tribute to and celebrate the incredible life and career of Edge. WWE Superstars will also be discussing the fallout from WWE Summerslam 2023, which took place earlier at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan, as well as getting ready for the Payback Premium Live Event later this month.
Edge Celebration
This week’s SmackDown featured an announcement that the episode airing on August 18 would mark Edge’s 25th anniversary of making his WWE debut. In spite of knocking out Jose Estrada during the match, Edge won his debut on June 22 of this year. Because it will take place in Edge’s hometown, the August 18 episode was selected.
